  1. Design and simulation of flight control system using adaptive PID control method

    2024

    This paper focuses on the design and analysis of the attitude control for quadrotor UAVs. Nonlinear equations of motion are derived and constructed in MATLAB/SIMULINK to establish the dynamics model. A classical PID controller is designed based on this model, but due to the system's complexity and nonlinearity, the fixed parameters of the PID controller are inadequate for achieving optimal control. To address this, fuzzy inference is introduced to adapt the PID parameters by real-time error and error change analysis. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed adaptive PID controller improves the stability and control performance compared to the classical PID controller.
